Rentals

Seton HOA offers a variety of indoor spaces for private gatherings such as birthday parties, family celebrations, and more. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please review the following rental guidelines before requesting a booking. 

Facility rentals will begin on September 8th.

● Rentals are for private events only. Public events, fundraisers, promotional events, or anything involving sales, advertising, or open invitations are not permitted.  
● Minimum booking duration: 2 hours
● Spaces available: Party Room, Multi-purpose Rooms.  
● Voting Members may book up to 12 months in advance. Non-Members may book up to 6 months in advance.
● The renter must be 18+ and must be present for the entire duration of the event.

● For profit bookings are not accepted at the Block.  If you are interested in starting a program, please contact lifestyle@setonhoa.ca 

  1. Signature on Rental Contract
  2. Full Payment – due upon receipt of rental contract 
  3. Damage Deposit cheque or credit card on file – $500
  4. Insurance Information – Proof of Homeowner or Tenant insurance is required. 

● Must be submitted in writing (email accepted).
● Rescheduling: Requires 2 weeks’ notice and is subject to a $25 admin fee.
● Cancellations:
○ More than 3 months prior: 75% refund 
○ Between 1–3 months prior: 50% refund 
○ Less than 1 month: No Refund
● All refunds are issued by cheque and are subject to a $15 admin fee.

● Setup and cleanup must occur within your rental time. Early access is not permitted and will be charged $50 per 15 minutes.
● You are responsible for:
○ Setting up tables, chairs, and decorations
○ Cleaning all rented areas before leaving
○ Removing all garbage and decorations
● Prohibited items:
○ Confetti, glitter, rice, bird seed ($50 fee if used)
○ Scotch tape, nails, or thumbtacks (use painter’s tape or sticky putty only)
○ Open flame candles (birthday candles are permitted)
● Caterers must remove all supplies/equipment the same night. Nothing can be stored on-site.

If serving alcohol:

You must obtain and post a valid Liquor License

Alcohol is only permitted in the rented room

No alcohol allowed on the deck, parking lot, or outside grounds ($500 fine for violations)

You are responsible for understanding and following all applicable liquor
